WHY WISHOO WAS CREATED
Egypt had the appetite for Asian noodles.
It just didn't have a maker.
For years, restaurants and households across Egypt sourced Asian noodles from imports — products that travelled thousands of kilometres, passed through multiple hands, and arrived at a premium price with no guarantees of freshness or consistency.
We saw an opportunity that nobody else had acted on. Egypt grows quality wheat. Egypt has the manufacturing capability. What was missing was someone willing to build it properly — with the right equipment, the right process, and an uncompromising standard for what a premium Asian noodle should be.
